Kooralbyn, as usual, was an amazing weekend away.  Great fun with a great bunch of blokes – thanks to y’all!!  Let’s just talk about the golf here, right?  Because what happens in Kooralbyn stays in Kooralbyn!!

Black tees were hard, but Congratulations to Benny C on his first mug win of the season with what was a superb score of 40 points, hotly pursued by Steve, who finished on 39 after his usual very high quality ‘drunk golf’ performance.  A distant third was Blake, who finished with a pretty respectable score of 34, playing off a handicap of 11 – super effort!!

The Green Jacket went to Troy who played two different golf codes across the 2 days at Kooralbyn.  Friday saw Troy finish with a relatively ordinary score of 29 (playing off 33!!) on Friday, leaving him 11 shots behind Ben (40). But something awoke in him on Saturday – to counter the hangover – and he shot the lights out on Saturday with a 42 while Ben’s monster hangover caused him to plough in and score only 20, leaving Troy the clear winner, 6 shots ahead of Blake.  Some other players to notably ‘crash and burn‘ on Saturday included Steve and Jason!!  Check out the full stats breakdown below.
